ABOUT YeAH!

Yellow and Honest (YeAH) is a fund raising and grant giving organization that aims to promote good governance by supporting and funding projects geared towards ensuring clean and honest elections for 2010.

Inspired by the values of our heroes, Ninoy and Cory Aquino, YeAH was formed to spread the spirit of patriotism, and the values of integrity and honesty in public service.

We at YeAH believe in the country’s potential for greatness. We witnessed recently a display of the Filipinos’ capacity for good, helping their fellowmen during the twin tragedies brought about by Ondoy and Pepeng. However, in order to raise our country out of poverty, the country first needs to have ethical leaders that its citizens can trust and rally behind.

We believe that the coming election is critical as it provides us the chance to elect a new set of leaders –those that are ethical, trustworthy and accountable to the people. In the past, each election has been marred by violence and widespread fraud. We at YeAH have vowed to guard the ballot this coming election to ensure that democracy is protected and the people’s voice prevails. We will do this by funding projects that will ensure a clean and honest election for 2010.

Who are we?

Arthur C. Cabrera is the incumbent President for the Rotary Club of Paranaque Metro South (2009-2010). He has over 30 years of experience in the field of Financial Management. Art holds a degree in Business Economics from University of the Philippines, Diliman. A very active member of the Couple’s for Christ, he frequently serves his parish church during the weekend.

Jose P Crisostomo Jr. fondly called Boy, is a senior partner in one of the Philippine’s most prestigious and oldest law firms, Siguion Reyna Monticello Ongsiako and the incumbent President of the Imus Rural Bank. He placed 8th in the 1981 bar exam and worked for the Office of the Solicitor General in the years 1982-83.

Mikko Perez is not a new name in the mobile applications industry. He was part of Chikka Holdings as part of its core management group. After Chikka he invested in Veritus Mobile later re-branded as Ayannah. This movement is close to Mikko’s heart as he is married to a Marge Lopa, a cousin to Mar Roxas and related by affinity to NoyNoy Aquino.

Noy Consolacion is a full-time volunteer of Yellow and Honest. He has been in the field of sales, training and business development for over 15 years. Noy prides himself to be a self-made historian, submerging himself in reading Philippine History books. He was part of the 1st and only EDSA Revolution 1986 and has since then wanted to have an active part in serving the Philippine government. A passer of the Civil Service Commission exam, he is a listed Sergeant for the Philippine Army Reserves.
